Wisconsin MBOC Staff

Heather N. Olson, Project Director

Direct service of the Wisconsin Minority Business Opportunity Center is provided by Heather N. Olson, Project Director of the Wisconsin Minority Business Opportunity Center (Wisconsin MBOC).

Heather has successfully provided business counseling to business owners for the past five years via employment with Council Enterprises, Inc. d/b/a Wisconsin Supplier Development Council, and the Urban League of Greater Madison, Wisconsin.  Additionally, Heather has managed business networking activities, forums, trade fairs, and other events specifically designed to create opportunities for minority owned businesses, buyers, and procurement decision makers.

Heather graduated from high school in Fargo, North Dakota, and has her degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Prior to working for the Urban League of Greater Madison, Heather oversaw fund development for two statewide nonprofit organizations and was the volunteer area coordinator for Youth for Understanding International Exchange as well as a Japanese language conversation partner for Wisconsin English Second Language Institute.
